Mel and Mel Eat at: Maxwell's Mix

Maxwell's Mix is on the east side of Yonge, just north of Sheppard. We had noticed it several times before going there to eat. Big windows are wide open on the street, so that people who sit there might as well be outdoors.

Inside, the place is large and pleasant. It has an attached sports bar called the Sidepocket. Since we were there for breakfast, it was quiet and relaxed. Our server was friendly and eager to please.

The food was excellent, and I especially recommend the home fries. For supper, expect to pay about $25 for two.

On the downside, Maxwell's Mix serves only Pepsi drinks.
