The Algonquin is a typical family lunch bar, on the highway, with a soft drink bar and counter stools as well as a large dining room with many window tables. It has hot dogs as well as hamburgers (always a plus). The service was acceptable but not particularly friendly. The hamburgers were home-made (no frozen patties here). The hot dog, hamburger, and french fries were all good. For soft drinks, the menu offers a choice of bottles or cans, so customers can choose the size they want. Both Coke and Pepsi drinks are available! Kudos to the Algonquin Lunch Bar for giving the customers a choice!
