The Beaver and Bulldog is so-named because it combines the best of Canadian and British food. Check out their Web site at: wwww.beaverandbulldogcollingwood.com.
We only found this place on our last day in Collingwood, or we'd have been there a lot more often. Our waitress, Linda, was very friendly. When she heard about Mel's allergies, she even brought the cook out to talk to us. After some discussion, Mel had an Angus steak burger, plain and very good.
The Beaver and Bulldog specializes in chicken wings, and has about 15 different kinds. I couldn't make up my mind what kind I wanted, so I had half a pound of honey garlic and half a pound of barbecue. They were large and yummy.
The fries are good as well. The Beaver and Bulldog serves Coke products. Highly recommended!
If any of you readers eat here, write to Mel and let us know what you think.
